Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece


Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece, Prince of Denmark, RE is the eldest son of Constantine II and AnneMarie of Denmark, who were the last King and Queen of the Hellenes, reigning from 1964 to 1973. Pavlos was heir apparent to the throne of Greece and was its crown prince from birth, remaining so during his fathers reign until the monarchys abolition. He was the eldest son of the King of Greece, grandson of the King of Denmark and greatgrandson of the King of Sweden, all living and enthroned when he was born.

Pavlos was born onMay 1967 in Athens, to King Constantine II and Queen Anne Marie, who was by birth a Danish princess. His mother is a sister of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and his father is a brother of Queen Sophia of Spain. His maternal grandparents were King Frederik IX of Denmark and his wife Princess Ingrid of Sweden.
